The
Xtech 10G SFP+ Modular 20KM LC Connector meets SFI electrical specifications. The transmitter input-output impedance is a 100-ohm differential. Data lines are internally AC coupled. The module provides differential termination to common mode conversion for quality termination EMI. SFI typically operates over 200 mm of improved FR4 to about 150 mm of standard FR4 with one connector.
In the transmit direction, the SFP+ transceiver receives a 10.3125 GB/s electrical signal from the host board, which then converts the data to an optical signal via the laser driver that controls the laser in the transmitter optical sub-assembly. An open-collector-compatible transmitter is provided. A logic "1" or no connection on this pin will prevent the laser from transmitting. A logic “0” on this pin is a normal operation.
